Here's another video. This one is about my guy helping my son get close to the edge of this cliff by the beach. My son has always been afraid of heights and James was just letting him know that he wouldn't let him fall. Cute moment captured.

Thinking of making a return!

I've been thinking about making a return to my blog. I will see how it goes. It has been almost a year since my last post. So here goes. My first attempt at blogging this year and it starts with a video. 

New Year

First of all Happy New Year to you all. I hope the coming year is full of great things for each of you. I have decided not to continue as a blogger cause lets face it I suck at it. lol In an attempt to simplify I have decided to just upload my videos to YouTube and posts on Facebook. So please if you haven't already, then like my Facebook page or subscribe to my YouTube channel to keep up on all my latest projects. Thank you all for being interested in little old me's crafting projects.

Steampunk Mini

Here is the most recent mini album I made. Had a shelf at work that I needed to put something on. I thought why not photos of the family. I used a lot of Tim Holtz product in this album. Lots of metal and had a blast. The whole album itself is grungeboard. I painted each page then cut the papers. Left it pretty unison on each page and didn't make pockets or pull outs. Thought it needed to be simple since it was going to be at work. Sorry not the greatest picture. My phone takes horrible photos and I forgot to take a pic before I took it to work.

 

Halloween Mason Jars

I have been loving all the crafts with mason jars lately. I painted these mason jars with Martha Stewart glass paint. Used two coats and it still didn't cover as well as I hoped. Then I baked it per the directions on her website. Once I was done with the painting I used my Happy Hauntings cartridge to create the black silhouettes. Last thing was putting the hemp rope around the tops of the jars, put a candle in and they were done. This was a time consuming project due to the waiting time for the paint between coats and the bake time. Not sure I would use this paint for jars again as I couldn't get my hand in them to make sure they were completely covered in paint. Hope you all have a Happy and Safe Halloween.

Explore Stonewall Video

Hello all. It has been to long. I have been busy scrapping just haven't taken the time to upload my projects. I have this layout video to share and then I will follow with a mini album that I recently created for work. These layouts are all from a kit I put together from products that I already had in my stash. Sometimes it's good to feel like I'm using up the old. I don't love how the second layout turned out. It's kind of busy for me but sometimes it just about getting it done. They wont all be masterpieces. Hope you enjoy and thanks for taking the time to watch.
 

Priceless Video

I'm back with another video. This time I created my own kit to work from. I also made two other layouts and a card. I was feeling a lot more productive doing the kits with items I purchased. Which makes sense I guess. I only ended up with items I was inspired to buy to begin with. Stands to reason I would be more inspired to create something with them.

Gentleman layout

So my guy is out of town for the weekend. I have been scrapping in all my free time. I was even able to get another video up. Wow how impressive is that two videos within a week of each other. Hope you like it. I will share at least one more layout with you as well, but later this week. Hope your all having a great weekend. I'm off to bowling soon. Wish the guy was going to be there.

Big Time Love

Here is my most recent video. This is from the March Scrapbook Circle kit club. I'm not loving this layout. I have such a hard time scrabooking with just the stuff from the kit. Especially when I don't really love the items in it to begin with. lol I'm struggling with using the kits to create layouts but I am deteremed to use them since I bought them. I have a new idea about doing my own kits though. So hopefully it will get a little easier. Let me know what you think.

Art Journal Page

I started on this art journal page earlier this week. I was absolutely feeling Blah. Wasn't the best week of my life for sure. Not the worst either however. Anyway feeling a bit better now and that is always a better place to be. Let's see where the upcoming week takes me. Working on another layout video. Hope to post that soon.
